A warm welcome to the official website of the International Nepali Literary Society, Germany (INLS Germany).
Though long journeys have carried us from the foothills of the Himalayas to the banks of the Rhine, we still hold our mother tongue, our literature and our culture close to our hearts. Words are the bridge that crosses borders and distances to connect one heart to another. It was in this spirit that our society was founded — to share our love for the Nepali language and literature, to encourage new talent, and to keep our children connected to their own language.
Literature is far more than a collection of words — it is our identity, our shared memory, and a precious heritage we pass on to generations to come. As we help Nepali literature blossom on German soil, we also seek to build a bridge of dialogue between Nepali and German literature. In this endeavour, your participation is our greatest strength.
Let us walk this literary path together. A single poem, a story, or even one word from you may touch a heart and lead someone back to their language. With this spirit of collaboration and warmth, we look ahead with confidence.
